Friendly desk clerk, quiet place to stay.
Hallway was very hot as the A/C units are vented into it. Breakfast offering was minimal.

Cleaning Lady came into our room the morning we were to check out without knocking. Just unlocked our door and walked in. She did apologize but stood there a few seconds looking around and then asked if we were going to check out. Did not appreciate her just walking in unannounced then staying a moment. Felt like my privacy was invaded. Thank heavens we were fully clothed! Then upon leaving didn't close the door all the way.

Rooms were old and dirty, thie first room hadn't been cleaned so they put me in another room. The door wouldn't shut all the way unless you slammed it shut. Having to be moved you would think I could of had a Room that was newer and remodeled but I got an old room that was old and gross. Black hair in the shower. The employees were very nice and helpful.

It was on the way to Yellowstone Park, our final destination.
The first room we were assigned to hadn't been made up, even the tip was still on the table! The second room was unclean: there was hair on the shower walls as well as a soap-scum ring around the tub; there was dust on the supports for the towels and toilet tissue holder as well as the carpeted floor space between the walls and floor, and thick dust on the exposed goose-neck under the sink; the ac was insufficient. I understand the owner was doing extensive refurbishing, but that's all the more reason to make sure the rooms should be pristine. Very poor housekeeping with not much apology from the staff or owner, just a mild "sorry about that".

Staff was efficient, helpful, and friendly. They even let me park the bike in a more protected area while we were under thunderstorm warnings.
Working in construction myself, this isn't really a negative, just a "heads up" for those who don't. The motel is undergoing expansion, so there are a few things that automatically go along with that. Rooms are very clean, but hallways are not finished, so there is the dust and materials that go along with the work. The work never affected our sleep or comfort in any way. Our room was new, and didn't have towel racks yet, but I expect they were coming soon. Very good stay!

Motel was in stage of full renovation. We were offered one of the new rooms with a window at the front, by a caring young lady. This room was tasteful and plenty of space.
The male receptionist was rude and initially "dumped" us in a smelly backroom with no windows to the outside.
